NAMBA district 19. Based near Los Angles, this NAMBA club
sponsored the 1998 NAMBA fast electric nationals. A well rounded club with beginners
racing side by side with national champions. The run all NAMBA and APBA classes. They race
the first and third Sunday of each month. |

Located in the Seattle area, this independent club specializes in
Crackerboxes, 1/16-scale Hydro, 12-cell Sport Scale Hydro, 7 cell and 12 cell mono. This

Filer and Ray Fuller. A great group who do a lot to sponsor F/E racing. |

Located in the Seattle/Tacoma area, this is a NAMBA club and they
race ALL classes. This club is big, established and serious. They hosted the 1997 NAMBA

ANCHORAGE MODEL BOAT CLUB. |

An NAMBA affiliated club known nationally as Team
Alaska. They race all classes from Cracker box to 12 cell open hydro. When thing get
chilly, this group move indoor ran run on an Olympic size pool. They always send a large
contingent Down to race in Seattle and the F/E NAMBA NATS. Some of the notable names in
this group include Jay Turner who is the NAMBA district director, noted author and racer,
Dan Eames, and Larry Larson who is a personality on the national racing scene and club
president. |

This New Jersey based club is home of NAMBA District 1.
Established in 1991, they race all NAMBA classes and are serious about it. This group
sports many oval racing records and are very innovative. This club is home to such notable
racers as Doug Twaits, Sr. the NAMBA National Electric Chairman, Doug Twaits, Jr. a fast
racer, record holder and builder of the Cyclone Marine FE race boats, Steve
Fernmender,
Andy Kunz, and Al Hobbs who is the current club president. |

The club primary ponds are
located southeast (Sail, Power, and Fast Electric) and southwest (Scale) of
Elyria, Ohio in Lorain County. The Club has about 40 active members who
participate in one or more of the club's four areas of competition: (1) Fast
Electrics, (2) Powerboats - Gas & Nitro, (3) Scale, and (4) Sailing. The
club meets monthly (January thru October) on the last Friday of each month.
Meetings are at the Denny's Restaurant on W. 150th Street, just south of
I-71, at 7:30 PM. |

METRO MARINE MODELERS |

Metro Marine Modellers has been around for almost 45 years
offering sail, scale nitro and fast elctric racing. The club is located at Humber Bay Park
on the shores of Lake Ontario, in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. The club hosts the IMPBA
Canadian Fast Electric Nationals, scheduled for September 11, 12 1999. It also runs
a series of 7-8 club races throughout May-Oct. Current membership of fast electric
racers is around 30, with about 20 serious racers. Notable racers include Sean
Robson, Doug Forrester, Roland Gass, Dan Palmer and straightaway record holder Jason
Boyd. New and up and comers include Marek Pleskacz and Neil Reesor. Past notable racers
attending the Nats include: Jeff Stevens, George Dalecki, and the
Twaits'. |

Racing Team was formed in November '99. The club runs electric boats only
(though members also runs nitro/gas "private"). The team only runs for
recreational value, but will this June arrange a SAW. Also our aim is to get
