Hey Guys,

WOOHOO! All up weight on the skeleton (complete framework) is a scant 1lb 3.7oz. materials used where 1/8" balsa, 1/8" lite ply, 1/8" 5 ply. I have a few ounces to shed off of that weight because several of the center framework will be removed after the bottom has been sheeted. I should be on target for that 3.5lb max weight.

Things are shaping up now!

Paul.

Sounds good, Paul. Keep track of that stuff, and it will make it easier to build a next one lighter. Try to track individual parts too, if you can.

Andy

Hey Guys,

Well, after jigging the rig up I didn't care for a few of the frames (fit wise) and had to re-make them. The problem was with the originals that where "off" a bit.

I've found several issues with this boat and its instructions that make me wonder how anybody ever built a good/straight one. Maybe that's why they don't make them anymore.

There won't be another, one of these is quite enough!
