HI Greg,
Once the nitro guys set their racing schedule we do ours, it shouldn't long.
The next fun run, probably in late January. But if your really having withdrawl, I'm sure a few of us can toss a few boats out on Heather Farms pond! :D

Hi Dan,
Thanks for the info on the schedule, I'll be looking for it. Heck yea I'm having withdrawls!!! I've got a rigger that's done and yet to hit the water, its killing me. I could run out to Lake Shasta between stroms I guess but have to real careful, way too cold to swim after a dead boat!!!!!!!!!
Talk at you later,
Greg

Thanks, Garland! it's ggod to see you back here! I think were going to have a fun run in mid to late January, we should also have a DMWB meeting the same day with officer elections for the year. If we don't have a schedule put to together by then, we could get members input on the dates as well.

Dan, I know you wanted to be kept up to date on the LS OPC tunnel class, well here goes . We will be running 7 boats to start out with . We will be using any tunnel hull and any outdrive lower unit with the 700BB motor. The race course will be 1 week oval course, 1 week off shore, 1 week "M" course, 1 week a triangle course. After the FOUR races we will have a vote as to which course to use most often. We will start our season in April with the first race. I hope this is of interest to you and your club members.:) :bounce:

That sounds like a great idea, Jim! Randy already has a "spec" tunnel he built after seeing yours, I guess I need to get going on one, I think my Bandit may be to heavy.
Are you running a LeMans start? Seven boats sounds awesome!

Dan we're going to try it for the first race and see if the guys like it and then make a decision to use it or not. Has Randy had his on the water yet? Scotts tunnel is a Bandit hull and I think it will be too heavy but he's going into the season with it, unless Randy needs somone to test his new hull out. I'll keep everyone updated as to how it works up here.

Thanks, Jim! The Lemans start sounds like a blast, it will take some skill to get it to the first corner with 6 other tunnels all going for lane one! In fact, it sounds just like F1 Tunnel racing!
If we get a few more guys, I think it would be great to add to our races, I have one extra lower just waiting for a home! ;)
