Just give me a little old gangsta' rap. I just can't get enough Snoop (back when he was still "doggie dog", not just "dog") and Dre. Rolling to the country club in my Porsche blaring "Gin and Juice". Oh, the days! I can't wait to get out of the office so I can bump Dru Down's "Mack of the Year" on the way to the Gym.

Seriously, though - I like a little but of everything. A couple of my friends introduced me to the wonderful world of metal a few years ago, and now I'm hooked. Anything from Metallica, AC/DC, Aerosmith, etc.. is a given. I like Static-X, Korn, some Slipknot, Drowning Pool, and really anything with lots of energy. The POD CD has been in my dash for about a month now, great stuff!
My wife is a country freak, so I'm forced, I mean, I happily listen to it whenever she's in the car. (She doesn't believe that the Quarts in my Porsche will explode when exposed to "twang")
The O' Brother soundtrack is one of my favorites, I've just about worn the disc out here in my office.
I listen to classical at work, keeps me nice and relaxed.
The gangster rap thing isn't entirely a joke. I listened to it in high school, and for a while after since I worked in the car audio feild for a few years. I don't listen to it anymore, all my friends pretend they don't know me when I break out the Chronic CD.
Oh yeah, can't forget KidSongs and Teletubbies in concert. My four year old daughter has opened my eyes to a world of toddler rock that I didn't know existed.

I Listen a lot to classical music (Mozart, Bethoven you know) and of course
black soul
funk
disco from the good old 70-80s
Dire Straits
and Pink Floyd - they are awesome
Bass&Drum
Modern Jazz

Today I listened to Simon&Grafunkel.

I also like relaxing music, sea sounds, tantric music.

Almost everything except today's music and any kind of rock or blues.

I like the sound of a roostertail falling back into the lake.

You know, when you make a high-speed pass real close to shore.

The boat is already past and heading away, the noise of the boat quieting.

Then you can hear the sound of the water as it splashes back down and it rips along as if it was chasing the boat.

Now, that is music to my ears!

Kevin W.

Of course on the way to the lake Better Than Ezra, Skindive, The Crystal Method, River, and Stabbing Westward will do.

oh yes, ABBA, is made in Sweden. Remember "Waterloo", "Dancing Queen", "The winner takes it all" and more?

They are great!

Little Sweden is a real music making factory. So many bands that get world famous.

If my feet start tapping and the line is catchy enough to sing along, then its all good. Dont care if its country, r&b, rock, some metal , rap, dont matter. Good songs are what makes you enjoy listening, if you dont like it, its not good. Dont care much for acid rock or GANGSTA, nothing but screamin or non-rhyming garbage.
