It is time to sign up for the first race of the year. It will be held at Kaiser cove April 10

Entries fees are $12.50 for DMWB members for the first boat and $5 for each boat after that. Non members are $17.50 for the first boat and $5 for each member after that. $2.50 for each racer goes to the District 9 fund. ALL racers MUST be members of NAMBA or have a single event membership. Both NAMBA forms will be available at the race. Sign-in starts at 8:30am, drivers meeting at 9:00am followed by the first heats. There will be no food or drinks at the pond, so it's a good idea to pack some food and drinks.

No worries, redster, I don't think we have turned anyone away from our club races. Since your hull is so big, if it's cool with the other guys, we could probably stick you in Q Offshore.

If I make it, I will also bring my little tugboat (running on channel 5) to help with recoveries. I just used it over lunch today for towing practice, and got it to hook up in one pass 3 for 3 times..practice makes perfect I guess!

Hi Dan:

Thanks..it should be fun. I spoke to Johny the other day, and he will be in for P Offshore, on channel 65 as usual, and perhaps one or two other classes such as N spec or Q offshore. I will try to reach him and make sure he gets signed up.

On N2 offshore, didn't Randy always run that too? I would also think that some of the N spec boats will run 4 minutes with the right prop, etc. Remember when we were testing them a few years ago? I seem to recall that we were both able to get that time in a few different hulls and that 19T motor.
