I'm thinking about trying my first rigger and am looking for recommendations from all you knowlegable folks out there. Any construction technique is ok with me, but I need to keep the cost down. And I love working with wood :-)
I will probably also go with an 05 class motor, since I have a few Stock motors and a Cermark 6 turn cobalt to mess with. So what would be a good rigger to start with? Thanks!

You have narrowed the field down to an easy choice of one!
The Blizzard rigger wood kit designed for 6/8 cells is available from the manufacturer, www.climateboatworks.com or from Fullers Fast Electric. It meets all your qualifications exactly.

I also built one of these but have not run it yet. Excellent kit!!
Should be very fast with a 12-14T motor. He gives you info on hardware used and even a nice pattern to cut your turn fin out.
