A very fun design; except for the chine fences it is very similar to high performance boats built in the 1930s and 1940s in the US. I've always liked the lines of such boats, and this modernized version is very cool. :D

But that's nothing about SAW.
On the drawing is written FSR V3.5, thats a Naviga endurance Class with .21 Nitro engines. They are racing between 20 and 30 Minutes counter clockwise around an M-shaped course which is 100m long and 60m wide. The maximum speed is about 40mph, but these boats can handle very rough water with waves of more than 4 inch, and they are designed to survive a crash with the recovery boat without damage. Compared to German FSR V boats it seems to be a rather old design.

In the other thread you posted photos of your nitro mono. Where is the lake? Is it on the mainland or in HK?
