Is there any chance I can run my Tunnel hull in an oval race vs. the turns ? Its really hard to keep the boat from cavitating when it slows down in the short curve ? In most cases, I can only run 14 cells. Is there a race for this class ? I know most of the hydros are kecka fast in oval so it may not work. What do you think ?

Hi John, we may run a tunnel exhibition race, call Randy to get more details, but it would be on the oval.

Hey ... Anybody know of a good spray foam to use inside a sponson ? or do you know if GREAT STUFF floats as good as the Pool Noodle foam that you buy from the swimming pools shops ?

John, the spray foam can split the hull or sponson, I would stick to pool noodles and cut them to shape. Are you going to pickup that boat? Randy has an extra 700 he will loan you for the tunnel class, we might have 4 entries now! Call me, (925) 639-1712

John Hi set up your tunnel hull with 12 cells and a 8.4v 700 motor and run in P Spec OPC. I have a motor you can borrow. call me

I think the motor will be a bit slower and this class is slow enough you may not be able to tell the differance. I can also sell you a new SS1 $65.00 or a 8.4V 700 for $46.00 or loan you a used one.
