Hey guys i just got a fiberglass 42" sailboat hull for free. it came with sails and a mast but no deck hardware or electonics. Im not sure what to do for the hardware and electronics since the other 2 sailboats i built were much smaller and abs hulls. if u could give me some suggestions or a site to go to that would be great. Thanx

How are Rc sail boats?

I have been thinking of buying one to run while batteries are charging.

since the sails are so small do you need a good wind with these?

no i have an rc laser that i run when im waiting for my batteries. It works great and i havent had any problems with it since i finished it a year and a half ago. the rc laser needs the least amount of wind out of the three i have since it has a ton of sail area on just a mainsail. the laser i have sets up in like 1 minute and comes with a carrying case. you can take the mast off and folds into two peices. its really nice to have to pass time while your batteries are charging. it only needs like 5mph winds to go a fair speed. i use mine down at the harbor all the time on cape cod.

I've done that a lot too. I've had several Kyosho Fairwinds simply because they look nice.
