Dick is there any kind of schedule that might give an aproximate time the different classes are going to run? I would like to come down and watch one day and meet some of the RR regulars.

There really isn't Jim. We just go from class to class in as orderly and fair manner as possible. My guess is racing will begin about 10 and be done around 4 each day.

Sure hope you can make it!

The schedule of classes on each day is at the site. www.drcwebservices.com/wanats

See ya,
Dick

Hi Jim,

If I were going to watch, I would go on Saturday, more scale classes are racing. Sunday will have some really ballistic boats though.

Sure I will stick it in the van when I come down Saturday. How will I know who you are? I only know what a few of the locals look like.

A lot of my boats have Chase Racing on them, I also hope to have a Devil Mountain Water Boilers banner on my pit. If that fails, I'm short and chubby with a mustache and my hair is getting to long from no time to get to the barber! If all that fails, ask Dick Crowe or Ray Fuller to point me out. I will also be wearing a yellow RC-Hydros.com shirt.

Also, I will have most of these boats there:

I hope the two boats in the pictures, in need of repair, will be in a little bit better shape than they are in the pictures.
See Ya Saurday

Dan, Jim; my brother Dave & I will be there on Sat as "drop-ins". We will have his checkerboard Bardahl and the LSH Atlas in the trunk. Hope to see you and a bunch of the others.

Garry,
I hate to be the one to tell you this, but I don't think your going to do very well with your boats in your trunk! :)

Why not come up early and sign in a race? "O" Sport & LSH both race on Saturday.

Looking forward to meeting you!

Dan

How will I be able to recognize you if the boats are in the trunk? What kind of car am I looking for?

Jim

This was sort of a last minute deal. Will be there for just a while on Sat. I’ll open the trunk up and let them out. Look for a bluish-gray Civic. One hansom guy (by brother) and one shinny topped rotund middle-ager.

See you there.

Well that narrows it down to half the people who are going to be there.
Looking forward to meeting everyone.

Dick and company, a few of us Oregonians will be up to see how things are done and to take notes on Saturday. My boats are not in race trim, and I won’t be entering any classes. Some of us may bringing hardware for show & tell. If there is a little space in an out-of-the-way corner, we could put out a Portland display.

I’m not asking for you to provide anything (I know you have plenty going on right now). I’ll just look you up Sat AM and see if there is an available spot to display a few boats, if not,, no sweat.

Good luck, bet this will be a “Landmark” Nats.
