What ESC is better.

Just wast to know.

Castle Barracuda 80 or a HAcker 70


I own a hacker 99 and it has never failed. I dont push my equipement so in any setup the two ESC's should be fine. I just dont want a flop ESC

I have both the Hacker Navy 70 and the Castle Phoenix 80M. Both work great for me. Each has their dedicated use. I use the Castle exclusively in my N2 boats, and boats with no water cooling. I think the Castle has more of a linear feel to the throttle. You can't go wrong with either.

I have a hacker 70 does the Barracuda seem to have better mid range throttle when campared to your hacker? which one do you feel has the better throttle response?
