What Cells are in MegaPax 2400 NiMH?

Got a 6 cell NiMH 2400 "Megapax" pack (Megatech) from a friend. What kind of cells are in there, i.e. Sanyo/Panasonic SCR, etc.? Helps to know cell type so you know how to charge or use.

Anybody happen to know what the electrolyte is in NiCd or NiMH cells?
