Doug,
If you don't get a bite, keep in touch with me. I'm working on a couple of them right now. One will be for sport use (30A) and the other for competition (200A).

Hey Andy mentioned your speed control at the club meeting last night, man had to get a mop for all the drooling!!! keep me posted, cheers eddie, on the by and by, is it possible to make a speed contoller that will accept two inputs (the ability to control two motors independently? with two channels???) and have dual outputs???? I know I know and I have never seen monkeys fly (outta anywhere) cheers eddie

Andy, I'll using Graup 600's on 6 cells or 7 cells. If your 30A unit will work, sign me up for 2.
Why would you need a reversing 200A speed control for "sport" or competition. I thought they were only used in scale applications.
Is this to see if Dick can go from 87 mph to zero within a certain distance? LOL

Eddie,
It's for Skip. We have talked about twin screw, and about mixing them. It's best as two boxes.

Doug,
The 200A is not for boat competition.

Doug, Some guys run pretty big motors, one guy in our club is running twin cobalt 40's direct drive (20 cells on a turbo switch) and he had to buy two mcd units, and he uses a microswitch for the turbo, I run the 600's a lot, and the 30 amp controller would be great for this, 30 amp is equal to the astro flight 208 reversing , and I have used this on twin 600's on 10 cells, (through a tranny) no probs, anyway,if andy's speed controls are going to take awhile,a good alternate for cheap money is the duratrax blast, my friend has one and he can't seem to kill it, 49 bucks from tower hobbies, it probably won't be as bullet proof as andy's , but you could continue with your project, good luck, cheers eddie,

Eddie,
This is a "U" shaped retrieval boat. It'll run out at low speed, grab a boat that's DITW (Dead in the water) and cruise back in.
Top performance in terms of speed and high revs are not an issue. The 600's might be geared to decrease current so that it'll be capable of long run times a low speeds.

Doug, I was answering for the 200a control, u shaped boat huh, man could use one of those, I did see a guy with this thing called a something or other snake, basically an s hook that floated made from pvc pipe , one part of the s fit around the ow of his boat, and the other end was open to catch the boat, worked well, with a geared 600, even the 7.2 v you could get away with anthing down to about 20 amp speed controllers, i would recommend the 6v eco 600, god luck with your project, cheers ed

Doug;
If you want to go low buck, try the mechanical units from a ClodBuster R/C truck. They are rugged, meant to handle twin motors and you can get them from the LHS for $20.00 or less each.
