Hi all,

I got my Jolly Motor wet last w-e for the first time. The hull ran great, didn't got the time to try to set the hull better or use bigger props (wich is possible because the motors, cells or ESC were just hand warm) so I can't really tell you more about speed or run time.
The only thing I can tell you is : twin powered cats rocks !!!
It's a real pleasure to drive that one, especially on choppy water ;)

You can find 2 videos here (http://www.rc-powerboat.net/videos/Jollymotor/index_video_jolly.php) or just visit our web site, link on my signature.
There is also a few photos on the "images" section.

Hope you'll like it

DIVX won't play vidio on my XP Windows computer and I can't find an up to date Codex.
Can any one do a WMP conversion?

I wish there was a universal video format everyone used it would makes things for us users much easier!

Jim I converted one of them for you. I will leave it up for a couple of weeks. As long as Mathieu doesn't mind.

Mathieu if you don't like that I did this let me know. I will remove it ASAP.

Steven,

The only pics of the complete setup are on the site :(
I send my digital camera back to the seller, so I can't take some shots.
I should be able to get more photos on wednesday or thursday.
Now regarding the setup, the motors were 2 MEGA 22/30/2 on 14 GP3300 cells. Motor, cells and controlers were hand warm but I didn't got the time to test some k45 props.
The next test will be done with the K45 wich should be a better prop for the combo.
I also have to test different motor from a german compagny : Viper 600/1800 and Viper 600/2100. You can find more about those motors here (http://www.hopf-shop.de/).
A bud manage to go as fast as 90 km/h + with this hull... I don't want to go that fast but I know there is some more speed to gain from my setup ;)

Stay tuned

Mathieu

Except for a few instances where it wasn't my material, I always converted the stuff on my site to MPEG-1 so everybody could view it. The real killer is that M$ can't stick with a definition of what a format is from one release of software to the next.
