Keep up the good work, Ron.

I have a few toys to test but I am about a month out. Post how the site goes. I need about 1,000 feet for a good run up.

as for your needed 1,000 feet for a good run up, i suggest you get out the county maps and start look'n...

the north shore of Lake Paw-Paw is straight as an arrow, has nice sand beaches and is sheltered, the calm side of the lake...

we have an honest 500 feet of run up, 110 yds. and 500 feet to slow down so it beats the "Poet Circle Sink-Hole" by about 1,100 feet...

but a 1,000 feet of run-up, we ain't got...

can you actually see a model boat 1,000 feet away?

I found a place in Daytona that will work as long as we don't have a east wind. Its about 1500 feet long. Its just off I95 behind the Flea Market.

No - I can't see that far - not even half that. BUT - Thats what god made the young fellas for. LOL!!!!:yeah:

Is THAT what they're for?

1500' beats our 1330' and a flea market to boot...

we'll struggle thru over here behind the May Town Rd. land fill and look forward to seeing you folks in Valdosta...

Thx Ron.

I will have a workbench soon after being down for the past 14 months. I will have lots to test soon, both oval and straight-line. I am sure I will see you soon.

Valdosta should be a hoot. I hear the cook is a real 'pro'.
