What's the best materials/methods for repairing nicks in wood hulls? I searched the forums figuring that I'd find something like this referenced, but I came up dry.

Depends on size/depth of the nick, but Goldberg Model Magic (also sold by Crayola and others) is great.

See the thread "Squadron Putty" on this board, I recommend Elmer's "Fill and Finish" as described in muy post.

I like to use epoxy & micro balloons.Go with a fairly thick viscousity & mask off the parts that don't need to be filled.Leave the tape on when you sand the cured blobs & it'll keep you from sanding areas you don't need to.Jay.
