I think the picture they show on that link is the larger of the two cats?

it says in the description that it holds UP TO 6 cells, that is not very much so i would miagine that it is quite small like in the 20" range!

I have that picture at home, that is the larger of the two. Look at the back of the hatch. That was where the pipe used to come out on the nitro version.

hey guys...
Thanks for the help...I'm still in the hunt though. The one pictured on the Hyperformance site although it is the correct name, its the larger of the two. The Ni-cat is about 22" and is a bit lower profile than that one. I'll keep searching though. I've got a few possibilities.
thanks again
Trey,
Talk to electro marine that was the cat I was running against you in Deltona. I am sure Ian will be more than happy to build it for you 7oz empty And its a great hull
Good Luck

Hey Eric...
Thanks for the suggestion. Actually I found a Ni-Cat new from Randy Tripp, from Maus. I'm actually looking for a hull for the P offshore...the Drifter I have is nice and all, but if you remember it turns like poo. I'm probably going to stick with a small V for the N2 offshore. Your cat is nice, and would certainly be an animal with that little hacker I have for N2 offshore. So in that respect, a small wood cat is still in my mind if the V doesn't work out. I'll likely build my own though if I do decide to go that route.
Thanks again for the suggestion.

Trey, just epoxy some trailing edge balsa to the bottom, inside of the sponsons on the last step and that will make the drifter turn just fine.

Hey Steve...
I've tried quite a few mods to the bottom of the hull, even went as far as to sand into the bottom, and add to it perminently w/o balsa to give it more of a difined edge, I also contured the strakes off the outer edges in the last two steps, thinking the boat was triping on them, and rolling it over. At this point, I honestly think I'm just way over powering the boat for what I want it to do. I had problems with a neo 700 and 12 cells set up for 4+ minutes...I just compounded the problem when I switched over to a direct drive Hacker set up for 4+ minutes. The boat in a straight line is a missle...I can swing an x645 for 4 minutes on 2400s, and the boat is an ablsolute animal in the shutes, probably mid 40s maybe even better...thats not BS either. But turn it at even half that, and its like trying to race an econoline van on a road course ;o) I think with the smaller lower profile Maus hull, I'll be able to do what I want...there aren't any steps in the hull, and maus hulls in my opinion handle quite well, so I'm going to give it a shot.
