4TH race of the Year Sign ups

Ok Guys it is two weeks to the forth race of the year. We have had a race every month except the month of June !

Lets get some sign ups for the classes you all want. It will take three boats to make a class. We had a meeting earlyer this year and I can remember most of the choices.
August 6th race sign ups The 2005 Fast Electric Race Schedule for district 9

August 6th - Kaiser Cove
Sept. 24th & 25th second annual "Trent Hare Classic" - Kaiser Cove

Entries fees are $12.50 for DMWB members for the first boat and $5 for each boat after that. Non members are $17.50 for the first boat and $5 for each member after that. $2.50 for each racer goes to the District 9 fund. ALL racers MUST be members of NAMBA or have a single event membership. Both NAMBA forms will be available at the race. Sign-in starts at 8:30am, drivers meeting at 9:00am followed by the first heats. There will be no food or drinks at the pond, so it's a good idea to pack some food and drinks.

I've been watching the sign-ups and it doesn't seem to going too well. As of Thurs night only P sport hydro has 3 racers, most others only 2. Since it a 4 hr drive for me not to mention gasoline, driving down there without enough racers to make it a race isn't something I can justify.

So...... Randy, please stratch me from the schedule, I won't be coming down after all. Since I will be missing the Trent Hare Classic, I probably wont see or be able to race with you guys until next year. Hopefully there will be more interest then. Anyway, have a great Trent Hare Classic and give them boys from Mesa hell!!! (Dave and Pete, no offense lol)

Man, now you guys are making me feel bad. After waiting until last night without much of a sign up I went ahead and told my son I'd watch my granddaughter today. I thought maybe if he got off work early enough I could still drive down tonight but is 4:50 right now and he's not hear yet. Just not enough time to get ready and get out of here at a reasonalbe hour. Plus, I have to work Sunday so tomorrow would be a race and drive home day. Thats just too long a day after racing all day in the hot sun. As much a I hate to miss a race I'm still going to have to pass on this one.
