I found a GREAT filler!!!

Hello Guys,

WOW, I'm tickled pink about a new filler I just tried. The stuff is called Icing, it's a polyester finishing putty. It's pourable and brushable, self levels, drys in about 10 minutes and is a breeze to sand. It's made by USC and contains glass beads, polyester resin, styrene, talc and titanium dioxide. I picked it up at a Napa Auto Parts store for 15 bucks. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!

tHANX FOR THE TIP PAUL, iS IT LIKE FEATHERFILL???? (TWO PART RESIN AND HARDNER) AND IS IT COPATIBLE WITH ALL TYPES OF PAINT? I'LL LOOK FOR IT,,,, CHEERS ED

Hello Ed,

The filler is a 2 part. (50 to 1) As far as I can tell it will work with any paint, I use Krylon and had no problems.

Hello Charlie,

Yep, no problem. As a mater of fact I used it on my Scorpion to smooth the deck and finish off a custom hatch. This stuff is the BOMB!

BTW: My black hydro that went down in Mazo is getting completely refinished. The hull seam was split open in several places, just a bit too many paint swaps and high speed blowovers. Ya gotta love it. lol
