How was the May 5th Race

Hi LOU,

The day was a good one, some good racing, not too much carnage. Neil and I had to leave early, so we missed most of the last heat (Heat 4) but we ran 6 classes and some of these were combined.

Perhaps Dan or Ralph can fill us all in on the final results.

As mentioned it was a good day. Conrad runs a tight ship and had all the results and ribbons for us at the end of the day. I wish I could remember them all. Here is what I recall.

Reesors got 1st in 6 cell stock mono (that is one hot set up), Rolland and I tied for second in this class.
Reesors got 1st in 12 cell "MMM offshore", Dan B got 2nd and I got 3rd (hooray for the new guy).
Bill F got 1st in LSH with his '67 Miss B.
I think Jerry got 1st in 12 cell hydro (maybe Bill won, but I am not sure)
Dan B got 1st in C-Box
8-cell was a bit confusing since hydros and monos were run together - man all the boats were fast.

There were other results but I can't remember them. Conrad has all the details

Should be lots more action in MMM offshore since Ray will run his cut down EV and Bill has an El Lobo he plans to run. Next race should be lots of boats in that class.
