Exhaust cone is whats left of my can of primer ! It has a nice seam and after heating it with a torch it has a real nice look I think.

I set the motor a little high so that the batteries will be under the motor. The interior is actually 2 levels.Bats on bottom and motor and speedo.
32 cells sit in the center tub and 16 cells sit on each side under the deck in the bullworks.

Outstanding job Dennis.
Definitely love those big 1/8 unlimited hulls ! Plus the LLUMAR paint scheme is really nice. I prefer the version without the "tube" :) ... By far !!!

The salt water scoops always looked funky to me.
But if you got it done, why not?!

Dennis,
Good work buddy! Very innovative. I like the looks of the saltwater intake. I think it makes the boat even more unique.:yeah:
Hi Dennis, the boat looks awesome! I like the snorkel, makes it look more "wicked" to me.
Is that a water cooled stuffing tube I see??

Yeah I kinda like the snorkle too.Yes,That is a Water cooled stuffing tube. After turning the teflon in last years big bud into a big pile of goo.I decided to loose the teflon.
Nitro boats run in a wet interior invoronment. We try to keep the inside dry and water from not comming up the shaft. So i decided to water cool it too keep from melting stuff and breaking a shaft.
Man I hope I have this thing ready for INDY !!!!
Man, that's a clever idea! And so is the paint can exhaust. It really does look like a stainless steel exhaust that has been 'hot'. :yeah:
