Hi Guys,

We are going to setup the drag timing system again this Sunday, December 4th. Sorry for the short notice, we just got permission to run there today. I think I got the bug worked out of the speed trap, so we will see on Sunday. Bring a car down and give it a try.

We will start setting up and prepping the track at 10:00 am, the track should be ready around 11:00-11:30am. Bring table, chairs, extension cords, food & drinks. We will have power there. My cell phone is (925) 639-1712 This is just a practice day, but we will be doing grudge racing and maybe brackets if we have enough cars.

Good luck Dan. Make sure to take some video.
I can't wait to see you guys set this up on water.

As far as how to start the boats. what about a straight line type mill? The lights will nab the person that hits the red light.

We have thought about that, but the way the RC drag timing system is setup, we would have to make some modifications to the staging lights. Dennis Costa came up with an idea to use a small magnet on the boats and metal plate the back into, that way they would always be straight on green light ... keeping them going straight is the challenge! :D
