When I am not playing boats, I provide the technical back up for a group of enthusiasts that produce a local radio broadcast at the Biggin Hill International Air Fair here in the UK. What i do when i am not out on the pond is i do a lot of machine work! i work at a machine shop and i get to use all the machines for whatever i want! i can get $1000 worth of machining done for free, all i need to spend $ on is material, i do all the design work (masterCAM) and code for the piece!

last month i made a turbine pnumatic motor! all stainless steel! the top rmp of that is amazing! like up at 50-60,000 Rpm!(i know that cuz i seized the bearings rated @ 55,000rpm!) next i think that i might make some bulit hardware for my boats!

it also helps that this is what i am going to go t college for Tool & Die, so i have that experience!
