Alright guys this isnt a fast electric but its still a boat so i figured you guys would still appreciate it. Its a 36" Deep V with a OPS .67 with about 4.5HP If anyone has seen a shockwave 36 before you can see i have done a ton of mods so far. Thanks for looking and i can always take critisism.

Where are the pics? The .32 is a bit much for that hull. The .67 must make it do backflips!:)

i would love to, only it wont be ready for a few weeks, still waiting on mounts, then once i have the stringers glassed i can make a radio box and mock everything up. once i do that i will take it apart and send it out to paint.

couple more pics. check out the huge tunned pipe coming out the end. The dark spot on the top of the hull is some fiberglass bondo that i used to form in a tab that holds in the front of the hatch, now it looks like part of the hull, very cool.

That is going to make a great project. Keep us informed on the build.
Who cares if it's gas or electric, there all fun.

Steven,
I used to race 44" mono's with OPS .67 motor.
You could hardly drive them they were so fast & quite common to blow off the water.

I used a x457 & 3/16" flexcable
This had snap accelleration around the turns.
The speed was topped out at half way down the strait.( 1/6 mile oval)
Very difficult to pass me due to this.

I allso used a Prather, it had smaller diameter & more pitch and higher top speed.
I really can't remember, could have been a 235....
This prop would continue to accellerate all the way down the straits, causing you to overshoot the turn bouys.

I really do not recall exact speeds.
Lap Average was around 50 mph.
If you looked up old speed records you would have an idea.
1990 to 1994 IMPBA

But, Like I said the prop is selected to carve the turns. This makes top speed unimportant, just lap average..
