I'm deciding on pulling out of LSH. My boat won't be competitive enough and I don't have any time to setup another hull. If we decide to try and run ten laps instead of running 6 like we did, I wouldn't have cells that could cut it anyway. I am going to stick with offshore spec and c/box . I'm going to focus my efforts on only 2 classes. I also don't have the money to buy new cells for LSH, well actually I do but can't justify it. I would like to see more people in the club focus on quality rather than quantity. I would like to run only 12 open hydro, but there isn't anyone to race with. Everyone complains that it's too expensive and other crap. At the same time they are the same people running 5 boats.

I can relate, Dan. If I try to run 3 classes a day I do poorly in all. I don't know how some guys can do it.

You don't need fancy cells to get 10 laps. I did my original testing with 1700's.

Your boat won 1 heat in LSH. It is a shame you are pulling out.

Not sure about 12 cell open hydro but I thought Bill was running his H&M Miss Budweiser with 12 cell Aveox and I know Richard has a 12 cell H&M Viper with Hacker. He is having trouble with his set up but it should be running soon. Ray and Conrad are also running competitive 12 cell open hydros. I think those guys would give you a good race.

I will stick to the spec and LSH class - I can't justify the big dollars for open class. I have ordered my LSH hull and motor and hardware but I know it is going to take me a while before it is built.

Cut the crap a and bring your lsh hydro. We are not going to 10 laps. If we do i for one won't race.
