View Full Version : How Do You Log Out??
After logging in to post/reply, I need to log-out, since I use a public computer system, unless you prefer to have people do
malicious stuff using MY NICKNAME????
It'seasy enough to log in, but I don't see a button or link to log out. Otherwise, I have to try to post/edit any message and click the logout link.

Tom,
Go to User CP button (up under the header). Then Edit Options and you can make the login forced and skip the cookies.
I think that will do it for you.

Andy,
the system uses the same settings from wherever you access the sytem. That means if I want to use cookies from the home computer, it will put them on every computer I use to access this system; not a good idea.
Therefore, if I use the forced logout, I would have to log in from home, which I would prefer not to do.
That is why I would like to log out easilywhen I finish browsing the forums.

Then you'll just have to be two different people.
That's not hard for most folks I know.
This morning one of the guys caught me. I told him that "on the way home last night we were talking about making this connection" and he pointed out to me that I drive home alone.

Tom,
Click on "Home" then Go to the bottom of the page (almost the bottom) and click on log out.
You can log in that way too. If you're logged out there will be a username and password box in the spot where the log out link was.
So, did you get your micro star going yet? I built mine this weekend. Everything was cool till I plugged it in. I was using the main batteries for the receiver as well. Only problem, my Hitec Dual Conversion receiver doesn't have a BEC, I assumed it did. Oops! As soon as I plugged in the 7 cell pack the servos started jittering like mad. I should have unplugged them right away, but I had to mess around with them a while. I didn't figure out the BEC problem until the throttle servo finally died!!!! Smooth move huh? Looks like this boat is going to get an old AM receiver with BEC next time!
See ya,
Dick
You learn something every day, huh?
The Micro-Star is last on the list. I do full-time school/study so everything gets put on hold except for a hour or two on friday night or Saturdays.
The mini Star has Shredder Rx with a GP mini30 ESC on a 7 cell/1300 airplane battery. Only problem with that is it only likes to work with my Futaba Tx. Something about the timing, I think.
