Hotwire cutting foam sponsons

I need instructions on cutting foam sponsons. I have the equipment and the foam. Could someone help me!!!!!!

Archer,
You need some kind of template as a guide so you can cut it straight, unless you are real good.
This could be nothing more than some card board cut to the shapes of the sides then place a template for the top profile and do the same to get the sides done as well. Check out this link, (has pictures)http://www.microhydros.com/tom_mitzlaff/tom2.htm

I don't care for foam sponsons on my riggers. I make mine hollow, from wood. Takes more time and just mu preference. You can cut foam with a hacksaw blade and then use shaping tools to shape it. More exact that way.
