need suggestions

I have this hull done in a beautiful red gelcoat. I need to make it a scale class boat. Does anyone have an idea of what boat to make it? I really hate to paint the red. If I only painted the yellow portions, would it still qualify for a scale class, or would I have to paint the white also? Any help? or Pics?

To make it scale, you need to find out what the REAL boat ran as. It looks like it's a designed-Sport boat (ie, there IS NOT a real boat just like it).

If you are trying for a Sport Scale boat, all you need to do is put some "sponsor" decals on it to make it meet the "spirit" rules and you are set.

Are you getting into Classic Thunder or RCU?

Exactly what class are you aiming to compete in?

Hi Andy,
The boat ran as the Edge both in the Unlimited and Unlimited light classes. This picture is real close to the real boat. I ran it at the Nats last year as a P- sport. My yellow one got so banged up I had to replace it. Our club is making P- hydro a scale class this year, so am looking for something close, and red.....If I get my 4cell stuff going I will have to get another of your great ESC's.

Duncan, You forgot to mention that when your club says scale they mean scale not sport scale. That's why he is looking for a scale boat Andy.
