rudder position

just wondering if lowering the rudder on a mono will have any major effect on how the boat rides and handle???

Just as a rule of thumb, more in the water the more drag you get. If you are having problems turning, that might help but too much will slow you down. Being too close to the prop has caused problems for me once. I just moved it further back and the difference was amazing, even cut it shorter for more speed after that.
