Friday SAW news!

I just got off the phone with Tim Higdon, here is the latest. Tim could not remember the defiant numbers, so consider this very unofficial!!!

Gunnar Hold from the JAG's Team set a new N2 Hydro record in the low 90 mph range.

Matthias Boese from the JAG's Team set a new P Hydro record in the high 100 mph range.

Kicken' butt and taking names!

We'll have to wait until the event is over and the official records are available. Posting second-hand estimates serves no good purpose now. I too am anxious to see the final results!

Jim,

You can download them off the NAMBA website record page (www.namba.com/content/records.asp?EventType=11). It'll be a few days at least until the site is updated.

I sure hope these records aren't nixed for some reason!!!

Jim,

AndyThere are new NAMBA record application forms that are FE specific. Also, new forms for the nitro guys. Both forms are simplified and should eliminate most of the past issues regarding record applications.

Dan, I spoke with Joerg tonight and Arne's record was 93+. Mathias's 100+ P Hydro was a 1 way pass. Last I talked with him, Mathias had run out of daylight.

Thanks for clarifying this Dick. After a week of 3 to 4 hours of sleep a night nothing I say can be though of as accurate.
