View Full Version : H&M ECO Hulls

Hi Guys,

I have 4 new H&M Eco hulls I want to move out. The boats are 20 inches long 7 1/2 inches wide and made of fiberglass. These are bare hulls, no hardware. Asking 60.00 each with 8.95 priority shipping.

I also have one that is almost RTR, comes with a new Chameleon 19 turn motor, cooling coil, rudder installed along with the stuffing tube and flex shaft. Priced at 100.00 plus 8.95 shipping.

I don't *think* they are, if they were they should have holes on one side at the top of the hull and a sealed chamber on the same side, usually the left side. I don't see any provisions on the pics for a flood chamber. All of the self righting ECO boats I have seen have the flood chamber, that does not mean they may not self right by keeping all the weight in the bottom similar to how a sail boat self rights with ballast or a keel.

I know the bingo my son has does not have a flood chamber but it is more bullit shaped and not nearly as wide so as long as you have the batteries in the correct place it self rights no problem.

Judging by the width of the hull, my opinion is that, without a flood chamber, this eco will be quite stable upside down. If the wings are low volume and you get enough weight down low and off centerline, you might have a chance.

I'm still trying to decide if I need one more project to tackle. Those hulls look sweet and the price is right.
