I hope this works, the server is a a friends and I hope it doesn't get overwhelmed.

If it does there will be a grainey version on you tube since it is soo long.

Some crazy speeds from Chris and his Triton monos in Q and N2 offshore.

About 1/2 way through there is a quick clip of my Jotun with a title something maiden test voyage whatever you will see.

The cool Canadian water seems to make some good speed:yeah:

cold water is denser and youll get more bit from the pro than in warm water...that was a good vid, good quality too..

Really good video, Ray! I liked the offshore course layout. You guys look to have had a good turn out too. Must have been a real fun day. The Cat looked like it was running and handling quite well! Job well done!!

I take no credit for the video and editing it was Laurie, or Doering1 is his handle I believe. He is as good at Rc boating too!

Thanks for watching.

Wow so that is what FE means. I thought the SV27s are fast. holy cow.

what is the set up of the white boat in the video it was the first boat that the camera was folloing for a couple laps.

I want to make somthing like that WOW

Great point, I've been looking for an explanation why some water is "faster" than others..

I attributed it to water "hardness" calcium, minerals, etc. :)

cold water is denser and youll get more bit from the pro than in warm water.....Bite from the prop. ;) While that makes sense from an intuitive standpoint - we found during SAW testing in Alaska that as the water temperature dropped, so did our speeds. It is far more complex than just temperature effects.

Boy, that was great! Cool video and excellent boats. The Jotun ran great! So did the white and red mono's. Whew! Good speed. Thanks JH
