Cat Building Help

OK, the deal is I'm trying to make a cat with balsa and foam. I have the tub made already and i need help with the foam sponsons. I was wondering, what is better for overall preformance, small, big, or no angle on the sponson bottom? By sponson I mean the side floats (i cant think of the name right now, someone help, it's 2 AM). Thanks for any help.

the less angle.....the more speed less turning and rough water performance. the more angle......the less speed better rough water handling and turning.
