I have some kapton tape, which is usefull as a high heat (500deg f) insulation for batteries. This will not melt, and is really tough. There are 3 main sizes. All are 36yd long, full rolls. I have several rolls of each. I also have some teflon tape, 1-2" in various thicknesses. not sure what you would use it for for boating. If someone wants some, let me know what you want, and I will see if I have it.

Kapton
2"X .0025" thick airtech $30
3" X .0037" thick permacel $45
.375"X .0027" thick 3M $7

thickness is measured with a dig mic, and is overall, incl adhesive. Prices are without shipping, I will try to ship at around actual cost.

This stuff is very expensive to buy new, here is a page with some pricing. I believe that the adhesive on mine is acrylic

I would prefer to trade this for misc FE stuff. I am looking for some good used 6 cell packs, 3600 or larger, brushless esc's, motors, smaller props, ko propo fm rx's. Smaller hydros and rigger's. Misc. hardware. Not into racing, mostly just fun running.

Thanks !
Ken

What range of props are you looking for?

I have been playing around with some guys with nitro proboat hydros which are runnig about 24-26mph right now, I had a stock bandit mono, which runs OK, but not nearly fast enough to play with them.
I ended up with this rigger:

It runs pretty nice with a worked x632 I had from an old rigger. I have a couple of x432's, but they don't seem to lift the rear as well. I added a waterjacket, and the motor and esc are not too hot after a run, but the batteries are pretty hot after 4 laps. What I would really like, is a prop that will get the tail up, but with longer run times. The rigger is definetly faster the proboats, but the run time is too short. It would be nice to find something around 28-30mph that dosn't heat up the batteries so much.
for batteries, I have a couple of aging 4200's, a 37000, and a couple of 3300 packs. Could really use some better batteries right now, but $$ is tight, thus the offer of the tape. I know that the 432 is a popular prop, but I don't think the ones I have are tuned right, and I'm not sure what to do to them.

other than that, I am pretty open to odd trades for the tape, I also found some 3/4 and 1" wide rolls too.
Thanks!
Ken
