US Attendees to the August Weekend race

I happened to be speaking to Chris Fine (my LSH shovel nose hull got lost in transit and was returned to sender) and he did mention that we was going to try to make our race. I am sure he has some pretty interesting boats to race.

Hey Ralph, Sorry to here about the delay of the hull. I hope you can get it set up for the Nat's. (maybe you'll have to race as is and do your meticulous finishing after the Nat's:D ) I'm gonna go to my LHS and see if he'll sponsor a class or two. It's a long shot but worth a try. It would be cool to meet and race with Chris and his brother. Did the club ever get class sponser's for the previous Nat's? The way it's shaping up so far its gonna be one great weekend.

I did not attend last years event (I think it was 3 days). Not sure about sponsorship. It is a great idea but we should check with MMM FE to see who is running the show and co-ordinate activites with them. I am not sure if Conrad or Steve is organizing. I have a PM into Steve to try to get a better idea of how things are run - remember this is only my second year of FE, I am a newbie too.

You've got some great ideas. Your enthusiasim is an asset to the club.

BTW - I think my shovelnose will be running in basic yellow for August race. Not sure if I can get the detailing done in time. I've got some ideas though...should be a sharp replica of '65 Miss Bardahl when its done.
