Hmmm, I appear to be a "Racer" now. NOT!
I think that you'll find that the bulk of any newbies to this sport/hobby place a certain amount of credence in the ranking of a forum message poster. Does the software allow for multiple ranking paths? In other words, maybe those with registered memberships in a boating organization would follow a different "ranking" path than those who aren't?
I'm really just a "newbie" who happens to ask a lot of questions. To me, anyway, a "Racer" designation doesn't fit my situation. My true classification is something like "Enthusiast - Knows how to post".
Maybe I could just be labeled as a "Wannabee".
