Woman just dont get it...
So me and my female freind have planned a 3 night camping trip to the north shore Lake Supior (Grand Marais) Minnesota to see the fall colors do some photography, hiking and sight seeing. It will be an awsome trip, yes outdoors in a tent, temp ranges aprox 30 to 60 degrees f.
All is going well and she asks me "what am I gonna do for four days without my boats"? I respond "who said I wasnt bringing a boat"

She didnt quite see the humer in it.......... Heck ya I'm bring a boat to run on our states biggest fresh water lake, or is it the biggest in the U.S.?
Just hope it isn't the wreck of the balsa cat2...........

Good one, I did the same thing when I bought the motor home we went to a lake in the mountians Hiked, fished, ran some RC boats and watched TV on the satlite dish at night. She said it was boring we needed to sleep in a tent to be fun. go figure:confused:

Gitche Gumee is the largest lake in the US and could contain all the other Great Lakes with room to spare. Certainly you plan to learn a bit of its history on your trip? Just make certain that the cat's main hatchway is firmly battened down.....

Gitche Gumee (aka Lake Superior). Obviously the name used a long time ago, like when Jay was a kid!!!!!!!:) :) :)

Maybe you should make her a pink boat, couldn't hurt:thumup:

I get it. Boats are fun, and they'll make the trip even more enjoyable.

Well the trip was a good one. Friday we went for a 2-3 mile hike up a river, and took a bunch of pics. We then drove up the shoreline and found this beautifull shoreline and I suggested running my boat. She didnt even put up a slight arguement :yeah: The boat ran great and I got some short vids, of which she did the filming. It turned out to be an awsome day.
Saturday was rainy and drizzling most of the day and not a chance to run.
There was 2-6 ft waves which would have destroyed the boat. Friday I also got a chance to get some awsome pics of 2 foxes that were born this spring, and were quite accustomed to ppl and would come right up to ya.
I "hand fed" one of them for about 20 minutes, it was an awsome feeling to have a wild animal actually come out of the woods and except food.
No I didnt actually hand feed but the fox did come within 2 ft to take small pcs of bread. All in all it was an awsome trip. I will post some pics of the trip here after I get it developed and on disk...
