I finished up a model airplane. When you see it you'll understand - www.users.fast.net/~montana/planes
Then yesterday I cleaned the garage out completely - first time in 5+ years! I'm pooped!

What'd I do? Almost nothing... :) Sat around the house, had a few beers, watched the kids go fishing, had brats for dinner, stripped the hardware on the VS, pondered the whole bouyancy issue, watched Independence Day a second time, since I didn't really watch it the first time...
Fireworks- some folks at the far end of the lake got some VERY illegal fireworks (I think about the only ones you can buy locally are sparklers and snakes), a hundred feet or more high towards the finale (not close enough to us to cause any concern..). Wife and kids went down and watched, I was teaching my 3 year old to say "Fireworks" while we watched someone with those cone type spark throwers on the other side of the lake.
In all, a plain lazy day for me... :) Haven't really had one of those in a while.
Take Care,
Paul

Sort of. My dad is looking to keep out of trouble after he retires next year, and flyinghobbies.com fits his interests. I'm helping get him set up, then it will mostly be hands off.
Dan Chase came up with a pretty cool logo. I have to put it on the site but need to change the background to transparent first.

I got stuck working. I was so hot out too, so we just sat in the freezer most of the day lol (where I work, they have a big walk in freezer)

Cool ;)
I worked one day at a fish processing plant near Harrisburg. The whole building was like a giant fridge.
Sure made me glad I never liked seafood!

I worked at McDonalds 2 years in high school and 2 1/2 of the 3 1/2 years I went to college.
I would go back if it paid enough to feed 7 kids. Whole lots lets stress than engineering.

I turned my first sub-16 second lap in LSH....in any boat for that matter, given that we only run 700's.

Man, I had to build the missus some garden furniture, but did manage to find a really cool wood supplier, us mahogony in aberdeen, man they had everything, I made her some picnic benches from Phillipine mahogony, it was almost as cheap as pressure treated wood, and they came out beautiful, and there is just enough scrap left over for a runabout or two (how'd that happen lol) great shop if your looking for any exotic wood.. great stuff !!! cheers eddie

I got to light the fuse on a cannon. One bad mother...kicks back around 6'.
It rattles window a mile across the lake. We had some fun with it. There are 3 other cannons around our area on the lake but this was the baddest.
Only 1 1/2 cup black powder and 5 paper towels and one wet one and kaaabooom!
I have never heard anything louder with more power.
