I haven't even got my first boat running well and I'm already looking for new projects! I like to build with wood, so I'm looking for sources for good wood FE plans. I'll probably stick with a Deep-V or Cat right now, something that can run fast for fun. I'd like to stick with 12 cells or less right now (although I'd love to build a BIG deep V someday). I also have a bunch of Speed 400 motors and cells from past airplane projects, so the smaller stuff looks interesting as well.
So where do I turn for plans? TIA.

JD, DEPENDING ON WHAT YOU WANT TO BUILD, WILL'S SUGGESTIONS ARE REALLY GOOD, THOSE MICRO BOATS ARE WAY COOL, YOU MIGHT ALSO CHECK OUT TRAPLET PUBLICATIONS, WWW.TRAPLET.COM, THEY PUBLISH INTERNATIONAL MARINE MODELING MAG OUT OF UK, THERE IS A PLANS MART, I JUST PICKED UP A SET OF PLANS FOR A TWIN 400 POWERED RIVA, (THIS IS SORT OF LIKE A MODERN DAY RUNABOUT) BUT IT IS A VEE HULL, BUILT LIGHT WITH OUT MAHAGONY ETC, IT WOULD RUN OK, (STILL NOT AS FAST AS THAT DUTCH DUDE WILLEMS BOAT BUT MAYBE SOMETHING DIFFERENT, i LIKE TO THINK OF IT AS SOMETHING CALLED "FAST SCALE" i HAVE BUILT A ONE STEP HYDRO FROM A SET OF 1930'S PLANS (EDWIN MONK)THAT ON 12 CELLS IS WHOLESALE DANGEROUS,,,, THERE ARE MANY PLANS AVAILABLE AT TRAPLET, FROM STEPPED MONO'S , TO HYDROS, ALL DECENT PRICE, AND THE QUALITY OF THE PLANS ARE FIRST RATE,,,,,CHEERS ED:D
