I just bench tested the prototype 2215 water jacket. http://www.offshoreelectrics.com/prodimages/2215-jacket-front_large.JPG I should have these in stock, about 1-3 weeks. The design allows use with the finned motors!

I tested this in my 10S Insane Cat at the Carrolton Classic Race.... It dropped my 2215 temps by 25deg. and is very well made!!

Keep up the good work Steven!!!

I too was impressed with the quality and performance of Rich's jacket - and it looks good too. IMO the only way to improve it would be to offer it annodized in black...

Can it be positioned to allow the use of clamp type mounts fore and aft?? Right now it looks like it will require the use of a bolt on plate mount on the front.

My 2215 sits in a cradle mount that clamps on both ends.

On the front you have about 1/4" of clamping room,,, and about 1/2" in the rear...

I am going to use clamp style mount on both end of 2215/w jacket in my Avenger Pro,,,,,, on the Insane Cat, I am leaving the front mounted to ply plate and clamp style in the rear...

Bill,
I will email you some pictures tonight...

Sounds good. i have one from FastElectrics in Australia but don't really like the way it fits. An OSE product would be preferred.

I belive you will be very happy with an OSE jacket,, nice machine work, big o-rings, brass screw-in water fittings, very nice product indeed!!

I've got OSE jackets for my 1527s. Nice stuff.
