Any updates from the race?

Any new rules for any of our classes?

I hope everyone had a good day.

Hey Ralph, Was a great day for Team Arnold, 1st in crackerbox, 2nd in P-spec Mono and 3rd in LSH. P-spec was some good close racing. Steve was running his new Titian, man that thing was fast and rock solid. Ray had some trouble with his ESC the first 2 heats but went to straight on off for the last 2 and took the final heat. Man he has a pretty unique setup in the hull. You better get on the blower the C Fine and get yourself a SS-1 for that Electro-Vee, the vote is in and the Neo and SS-1 are OK'ed for P-Spec. Do you have your LSH hull? Hope you had a great Vacation, and I hope to make it on the 21st.

Thanks for the update. Sounded like a good day.
How was the Villan running? Was she stable on the oval?

I think I'll leave the 8.4v regular 700 in my EV. I can't justify a new motor after only 1/2 a season on this one :o)

I have got my LSH hulll and SS1 motor! Hooray. Delay was 100% US Postal service problem not Chris' fault. I hope to have it in the water for the August race. It will not be detailed but I am working with Dan Chase on a superb graphics package for the '65 Miss B. Should be quite a looker by the end of the summer when all is done.

I will be there on the 21st.

Cheers Ralph

Hey Ralph, The Villain was running great. I finished all the Heats and no major collisions. I did tangle with Steves Monster in the front stretch. The only damage was that I bent his on/off switch post.
There was a good headwind comming down the back stretch and she was bouncing alittle but not uncontrolable. Got knocked out of 2 races in LSH, tangled with Richard, one my fault, one his but racin's rubbin, right. Johns Cracker box was flawless accept for the second heat. I slowed to a stop so I wouldn't jump the start and lost my brand new cut down X432 in the drink. If you wanna place top 3 in P spec your gonna have to at least prop up that Vee. I even geared up closer to 1:1 for the second heat, but Steve's boat just kept getting faster and when Ray got his problems fixed he was untouchable as long as he drove a good race. The Villain was running the 8.4 still but I have a brand new SS-1 thats gonna go in it. I was also very Lucky and picked up Steve's old P-spec hull. It's super light but I'm not sure if I want to make the switch from the Villain. My goal is to win P-Spec Mono at the Nats with a Villain.:D The way the Nats are set up, P-Spec an Sat and LSH on Sun. You could do the old motor switch.

Interesting thought on the motor switch for the August race.

What is Ray running in his EV? I thought he had a 8.4? Is this changed? Do you know what prop he was running? If he is running a 8.4 and I match his prop, it should be the same speed. Did he do anything special to his boat?

Thanks Ralph

Ralph I think he's running a non Neo 9.6. I wouldn't have belived it if I didn't see it with my own eyes. After the third heat was finished. I think he finished right behind Steve. He stayed out to dump his packs and he must have done 5 more laps. Whatever he did that hull rocks.
