Anyone buy any props from
http://www.prop-shop.co.uk/default.htm
I can’t seem to get them to reply to an email!
I have also tried to search for someone else that carries their stuff but hadn’t had much luck.

Het Pagemaster, Haven't ordered direct from the prop shop, but the props available are out standing, in quality and finish, we ordered from a "ships n things" in jersey, but they are available from a variety of vendors in the uk, who might actually stock them, I would love to find a source for them here, when props were ordered the wait was lOOOnnnggg,,,, but the props are gorgeous, and if your into other types of boating besides pure race, they have stuff you can't find anywhere, 3 blade counter rotating, 4 blade, 5 blade what ever, huge selection, and with some real pitch, I'm not sure if Al at ships n things is still the us source or not, but i could find out if needed, but allan is on the right side of the "pond",,,to maybe find another source,,,, sorry not much help huh??

Subject: Re: Information please
Dear Sir, thank you for your enquiry. There is a list which I usually mail
direct because it is quite large. Please e-mail your postal address if you
would like it.
I have quite a number of US dealers, who mostly specialise in particular
kinds of props - racing, scale, submarine etc., but no one yet carries fast
electric props. If these are your interest it's probably quickest to deal
direct. Otherwise, you can try Harbor Models in San Gabriel, Ca., Floating
Drydock in Kresgeville Pa, Loyalhanna Dockyard in NJ or Working Boat Models
in Hayward Ca. for scale props; Thunder-Pro in Cherry Hill NJ or R&R
Propshop in Henderson Nevada for gas props.
Yours Sincerely,
Simon Higgins.

I just rec this from Loyalhanna Dockyard out of NJ USA
Steve,
Yes the finish on these props is absolutely amazing and the quality is the best I have seen. If you give me your address I will mail you a copy of the section in their catalog on fast electric props. From that you could probably select what you need.
Don
Our area code has changed to 585. However, in some areas, this does not yet register with local phone companies, so here are both area codes for your reference:
(716) or (585)-494-0027
(716) or (585)-494-1369 Fax

When I get the info I will post it!

Finish does not equal effectiveness. Prop shop have had a great deal of success with the cleaver props for flash steam and I hear that there is some success in IC BUT no one I know of in the UK uses prop shop prop competitively.
If you examine one of their props it seems that unlike Octura the pitch is constant across the prop face and therfore less effective - I have tried to talk to Simon about this but he is not open to ideas.
Don,
I will chase if you are still interested and get what you need - suggest you mail me. I'm disappointed that Simon could not be bothered - I'll explain the error of his ways to him!!.
