Guys,

Can you help me find bearings to replace the original bushings in a Kyosho Dolphin II outboard? It's a 5mm inner/8mm outer sealed bearing. But here's the tough part - it's only 2.5 mm thick. Yes, Tower sells 5mm x 8mm Duratrax bearings, but they're thicker. The Kyosho part number is 1902, but searches for that number on the Tower site come up empty.

Any ideas? Thanks for your help.

Sincerely,

Matt

The easyest way to get the bearings you need is not to gas around on the internet. But go to your "bearing shop" which will be able to give you any bearing hat you may require. If i need a bearing i pick them up from there ( no mucking around, they stock thousands of different types of bearings ). There is no difference in quality as they are usually the same, and most of the time a 1/4 of the price. My 2cents

Matt,

Try Boca Beraings
http://www.bocabearings.com/

So far they have had every odd ball bearing I have needed in stock and they ship fast. If they have it in stainless go for that and maybe a spare, otherwiese buy a few extras.

Are we going to see you back at Heather Farms soon???

I get mine at the LHS they use them in cars !!

I am looking for teflon bushings as alternatives - certaily there will be a lot less wear and maintenance
