Is there a moto calc for jets? I am runnng a mega 22/30/2 40mm jet. Want to run some numbers through a moto calc to get some run tmes and current draws on different cell types and counts.

By "jet" you mean EDF, right?
www.ezonemag.com would be the place to ask.
I'm pretty sure the *calc programs will give you what you want.

I should have specified the type of jet. I am using a water/boat jet. It is manufactured by Keher ? spelling and imported by Hobby-Lobby. I was just testing it as I just mounted the motor, and I am running the Jeti 3p Opto 70 amp in my test with a 7 cell Sanyo 2400 it cuts out if I try to give it full throttle too quickley. I would be surpeised if I am hitting 70 amps! guess I need to hook up the amp meter to verify but if I had a moto calc even if it was for a standard prop I may be able to pick a prop that would have near the same load as the jet. The jet manufacturer recomends .90 Nitro of 25 cc gas or strong electric. Any comments are very welcome.
Thanks

You need about 24 cells in series with an appropriate sized motor to even think of coming close to a .90.
70A really is easy to hit - it's well less than 1 HP (about 500W vs 750W) and you need to be up around 3500W.
Even if you had 24 cells you would still be over 100A in order to get .90-like performance.

Ok, I am still rather new to this so I thank you for that consideration.
So, with the Jeti 3p 70 Opto, I would not want to run 24 cells would I?
Suppose I was running 14 cells in series, I know I would not be hitting the .90 power output but what would you guess would be my run time at full throttle? I know its hard to say without knowing a quantifiable load from the jet but what is your guess?
Thanks again!

I would suggest that you contact Ben Diss. He is very experienced with electric powered jetboats. Look him up in the members list and find his e-mail address.
