Is there somewhere I can find a list? I have a hydro 1/10th scale and currently use the Octura X447R and have also played with cutting some down but I would like to know what is available. I am fairly new to Boats and I don't know a whole lot about props. I just know the X447 works as that is the only prop that is used in out club.
thanks

I will try and get a little variety around 47mm if that is possible
the Graupners are 1.2 pitch vs Octuras 1.35 and the are cut more like the Octura M series than the X series so all in all they wind out more but balance that with less pitch so it might be worth cutting down a larger prop
I will let you know asap
Hello Andrew,
On the micro Mega/Jeti combo, is that a bec controller?
Paul.

Sorry for being dense about props Andrew but could you explain the difference to me and what the results should be? Such as the difference in pitch and the difference between the M and X series?
Thanks

andrew, what does a BL esc kost: for 20cells RC3000HV and a Viper 740/10 motor. (Brushless) I think I should use that Kontronik 70Amp or something?!
So what does such a esc kost?
THANKS!
Willem :D

Willem
the Master 77-3P is $219
I think it is a better more robust controller than the Kontronik 70 for similar money

Andrew!
sorry for beiing late on the reply!
GOOD PRICE!
I am still thinking about that 62wo from schulze...because I can use that one for a mono1 motor viper 25/11.
See Ya!

the Mega Jeti combo can be BEC or opto.
Jim
I have attached a pic of X (left) and M (right) series props
The X has a line drawn indicating the area removed to make it an M series
this removes the slowest part of the blade which one theory has it fights the faster higher pitched areas of the blade (the trailing edges) at high speed
It moves the distribution of blade area toward the mid blade area - this modification lets the blade spin faster
THe M series on the right is a larger diameter prop it looks like amuch thicker set prop - some of this is just the by product of the photo technigue I used
The Graupner props look like an X series prop with the tongue removed.
It has a pitch ratio of 1.2 vs the approximatley 1.35of the Octura X400's and the 1.5 of the Octura X600
Just out of interest the X457R would cut down to a X648R - you may want to get someone like Randy Rapadeus to do that sort of a mod for you it could be good.

Willen
The Master is design to operate relaibly down to six cells so for mono one it so for mono 1 it should be fine.

Willen,
Nice pic of that german hull - may I ask what you're running in it?
Thx, Al.

Hi AL!
haha It isn't mine "yet"...
I'm almost 18years old...and I want to buy one of these monsters.
This is a mono3, and I want to run it on 20 RC3000H cells. or better...the motor will problebly be a Viper 740/x 9 or 10windings.
But the thing is...I am figuring out what cind of controller I have to use. Because I want to run a mono1 hull also with a brushless motor. So I don't have to buy 2controllers you see...
AND...IT COSTS A LOT OF MONEY! for me that is...only 18years and still going to school. (accountencie)
So maybe this baby will be mine...in a couple of weeks.
See Ya!
Willem :D
Andrew,
I just mailed Rainer.
If this is al true...then this one is THE BOMB!
