I would like to know what your opinion would be for running in my 6 cell rigger, i was thinking NimH, but i'm not sure, Nicads have worked fine with me, Im just not sure what would be a better step to make. Im currently running a 11 x 2 mod on geared what are your thought's? What should i do?

Most of these guys will tell you to use the Nicads (2400) no matter what you read or see in the specs most use the 2400 I got a set of 3000 to see if I would see a jump did I ?Hmmmmmmmm

Don't feel bad Louis,
I've got 2,200 NIMH packs that are in my Kids Power Wheels dump truck now.

I do like the 3,000's in offshore classes and lower amp draw stuff, but for sprint racing 2400's are still the battery to beat.

See ya,
Dick

if you guys think the 2400s are still the ones to have well ill stick to them. I've got 4* 6cell rc2400 that are matched, and i will stick with them but the performace has dropped a little from them, and i thought to keep runtimes up i should gradually change to some thing different. 2400s seems like the 2400s will be competive for some time so i will keep going with them.

The 2400s are great Depending on where you got them. Dont always trust the labels on the cells! I use Fullers 2400s and they are they best batteries ( 2400s ) I own. As far as the 3000s the only one that comes close to having the same kind of power is the Stock Nickel Metals from Trinity. They work great for me! But like Dick said only in the low amp draw classes like the Offshore class. In car racing, all they use at the Local Hobby shop I work at is the Stock Nickels from Trinity. For stock and Mod classes..... BV
