Is there a specific place you attach the plastic clip and screwdriver that is included to change the channels?

Hey man...
Like Eddie said... you have your display on... even though the transmitter is not transmitting... the display is staying on... just flip the switch! Other than that you should be set!
I have my 3D for about 2 years now... and I realy like it... I guess the only think I wish it had was a longer life stock battery... I havnt looked around for a replacement... does anyone know of a direct replacement that will last 2 or 3 times longer than the stock batteries?
(in a serious day of racing I have to constantly be sure that I plug it back in between heats to insure that I will have enough battery to last through the final heats...)
Thanks,
Donnie

Louis,
The instructions do suck!
The Display switch is pretty cool though. It will allow you to adjust your radio without transmitting. The best thing you can do is just use it. If you think you've really messed up one of the 10 memory programs, you can use the reset mode to set that one back to default.
BTW, have you ever peeked at a Airtronics M8 Book. I think the same guy wrote both manuals!
I can't wait for Paul to come on now and tell me how his JR manual is a no brainer!!!!!
One more thing you'll love. Computer radios like the 3D are hard on batteries! Turn it off at the lake when you're not using it or you'll hear that Beep Beep beep again!!!!
I'll tell you this. You'll have to pry my 3d out of my hands these days. It's awesome and has never let me down.
Good luck!
Dick
Hello Dick,
I can't wait for Paul to come on now and tell me how his JR manual is a no brainer!!!!!
LMAO!!!! I don't have to mention it, you took care of that for me. Thanks!
JR RULES!!!!! ;-)

Just get an Airtronics! It will solve all your problems including the battery life issue. Sorry Dick;) M-8= User Friendly! Now servos on the other hand No Doubt, Hitec in every boat!

Hey Brian, maybe you can drop Scott Bickford a note to see how he can get his M8 to last longer on a set of batteries then my 3D.
We usually have 2 races. One on the water, the other to see whos radio will die first. It's been pretty close so far.
Hey, I tried an M8 on one of my boats once and it slowed down. No wonder you keep following me around the course!
See ya,
Dick

I was going to get a M8 because the Hitec looks like a piece of junk, but you can't beat the 30 Channel Spectra Module. Hitec really needs to get a "fashion" consultant!;)

8.5 hours from 1600 mAH = 190mA drain, or 1.8W.
The Spectra module is eating a lot of Dick's power. Those babies are known for getting pretty warm.
Not bad.
