This is the 34" M1 super cat. It is all rigged, just needs power!! hull harware motor mount, servo, custom subhatch, this boat is a great performer, I ran it with a Lehner 2240/7 on 4S power for a couple of years, and last year ran it on a Neu 1521/1Y on 4S as an offshore setup and it ran really well. It has cooling on the motor tubes so If you want to put an 8S setup in there (yup I tried it, insane) the shaft and tube wont melt!!! The mount can handle a Neu 15series or Lehner 22 series motors. $300 shipped. In the pics the boat looks a little dirty, I will clean it up as best I can. If you want I will sell the Neu 1521 with the boat for another $150 and that includes the cooling Jacket.

Mike, what would be a good sport only setup for this hull? I have a friend who might be interested.

9-10XL or a NEU 1515/2D or 2.5D on 4s w/a 445-447 prop, the neu would be preffered I think I have a 2 or a 2.5d i could sell w/ it if interested

Mike lil off subject but teach me something here....I race buggies and truggies but have started an interest in rc boats we use the 1515/2.5/d frequently....6s is more efficient for us with cars...why would this not be true with a boat?

Well to keep it in perspective with boat racing we run in power classes, P-mono, hydro etc is 4 cell power and Q classes are 6S power, the M1 is best suited for the P classes (6S is a lot for the boat allthough I have run up to 10S in that hull) , also as a sport setup 4S is cheaper than 6S and the P class is much more popular than the Q class. I also have made quite a few buggy and truggy, and onroad 1/8 brushless/lipo conversions and I have found that 4S is better than 5 or 6S in relation to power to weight ratio, I can make a buggy powered by 4S that weighs almost the same as it's Nitro counterpart and remember all the R&D on these cars as race machines were done with that weight and weight distribution in mind. I have built over 30 conversions and have tried lots of setups but i keep going back to the 4S setups, especially in the 1/8 scale the cars just work better in my opinion, they jump and land and handle better on the race track, and I believe that the new ROAR 1/8 brushless racing rules are going to be 4S based. With that being said for a pure sport or bashing setup the 6S probably works great.
