I am currently building my first custom electric boat. I was wondering if someone could give me some suggestions as to which prop to start out with. Here's my set up: 21" mono hull, .125" drive shaft, surface drive, 14T Quad watercooled motor, ESC, 1800 6-cell pack, and will weigh about 2.5 lbs. I know I need to start out smal and work my way up but just dont know how small and don't want to spend a ton of money finding the best prop. Please help.
And does anyone know a good place to purchase pre-balanced props. Thanks

I love the X348 it will make a 22" rock:D But you can start with a X435

I think he meant a x438. You can buy balanced props from Fullers Fast Electric, and Andrew at Fastelectrics.com and Fine Design carries the props not sure if they sell sharpened and balanced.

Hello Terrance,

If you want to try some props inexpensively grab the Octura plastic x431, y531, y535 about 1.00 each. Metal props x432, x632.

Paul.
