Steve

Try a Hacker 50-L13 and a Graupner 42mm prop or Octura X440-442

Motor depends on which controller but you can go to an 11 turn. With the jeti controller go two winds cooler

Hi Steve,

The Hacker 50L13 is an excellent choice, but for 5 minute racing!!
For 4 minute i might go fro a 50L12 or even a 11, depending on how light your hull rides. My teammate races a Viper 600/13 (similar to the Hacker50L13 ) on 3000 NIMH cells and a 42mm Graupner prop for 5 minutes with great succes. He uses a Kontronic controller, altough from what i see and hear the new Jeti's seem to be a very good choice too.
Ciao Walter

I can confirm the above advises. A B50L from 11-13 will do the job. My personal favourite would be a 12 turn on a stepped boat with RC3000. Prop 40-45mm Octura X4 (X6?)or Graupner K series. Depends on the boat and the setup.

I'd recommend a Schulze (105Wo) in mode 4 or 5, a new Hacker Master (70A or 99A) in mode 1 or a Kontronik BEAT.

I would not use a Jeti (with fixed timing!) or a Kontronik Fun.

Maybe you can go for a motor and controller combo from Hacker (or from one of his dealers like Andrew or Ray).
